Special “Art for the Soul” Support Meeting

In addition to the Fund Raiser Event we are holding on the 7th of December we are having a “special” support meeting on December 1st.

Last November we had an “Art for the Soul” support meeting. During that meeting those in attendance painted/drew pictures that were a reflection of their individual battle with cancer. The pictures turned out so remarkable that Dr Sinha, Brenda Villegas, and the Head and Neck Cancer Department wanted to have them framed and mounted on the walls so other cancer patients might find solace from them.

That has happened! We will be holding an official “Reception” for the art display as part of our meeting.

To make it special, the meeting will be held across the street from where our normally takes place.  It will be held from 11am (instead of 10am) in the Eli  and Broad Center, 1st floor seminar room (BCC 101) 1425 San Pablo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90089.

The meeting is being catered by our own Jim Franchino (owner of Papa Chino’s Restaurant).  We need a good “count” to give to Jim, so please RSVP to either Brenda (323-442-7432) or e-mail me (blair.franks@HNCSupport.org).

I especially want to that Val Engstrom (and wife) for leading us both during the art meeting and in getting is event staged.
